About College
As an educational institution the Polytechnic college started its activity from September 1, 1960. Nowadaysmore than 1200 full –time and more than 200 students by correspondence study at the college. Training was carried out on 10specialities.
In 2002 in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus the educational institution got a status of a college due to the high quality of training.
Training is provided on the basis of basic education (full-time) and general secondary education (full-time and correspondence forms).
MSPC currentlytrains specialists in accordance with specialized secondary educational curriculum.Our graduates get a qualification “technician”. During the course of studies our students acquire working professions.
There are all facilities for effective process of education. Theoretical and practical lessons are given in the classrooms, laboratories,workshopsequipped with all modern means of training and 5 computer classes.
To arrange educational and out-of-class activities there is a library offering 11 thousand books and manuals, a spacious reading hall,a hall of residence for 640 people, shooting gallery, modern swimming-pool. Different sports and art clubs are open for the students.
Training is led by the experienced teachers. Many of them have been working for a long time, but with energy of the youth, and they are well-known in the educational institutions of Belarus as the authors of the textbooks and manuals.Currently 84 teachers work at the college, among them 30 of higher category, 33 of first category, 3 with Master’s degree and 1 with Bachelor’s degree.
.In 2010 the polytechnic college was awarded with the Honorary Diploma of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for a valuable contribution to the training of specialists.
During 51 years of work 33 thousand of specialists with specialized secondary education have been trained there. The college is proud of its graduates who serve for the welfare and prosperity of our state, among them top managers of Belarusian enterprises.
